No you do not bake playdough but in a recipe that I use you use a microwave here's my simple way to make home made playdough I have a recipe that is super quick and easy :)
You will need:
2 cups of flour
1 cup of salt
2 cups of boiling water
4 Tablespoons of olive oil
4 Tablespoons of cream of tartar
food colouring (any colour of choice)
Mix together all ingredients,
Cook on high in microwave stirring every minute for approximately 2 minutes.
Leave to cool.
Once cool your done then have fun using your own homemade playdough! :)
There is a simple recipe that you can use to make play dough that can be baked for decorations or moulds. Take: 2 Cups Salt 2 Cups warm water 5 cups Flour Food colouring (your choice) Mix together to make a firm dough that can be moulded with your hands. You may need less than 2 cups of water, but no more than 2 cups of water. If the dough is too mushy, add more flour to make it firm. Once you form your shapes, bake in the oven at 300 for one hour. If you want to hang the shape, make sure you put a hole in the top before you bake it. Make sure you use a non-stick cookie sheet. This can be painted after it has baked and cooled (not before)
Certain brands of playdough can be cooked in the oven to preserve the playdough, however it is best to check the packet before placing the dough in the oven as most playdough should not be baked.
it depends how much you put in water but it usually would sink.
i try getting it out but it ruins the mold when i take it out it looks ugly is there a tool of something that can get the playdough out of the playdough mold?
take one bag of flour and dump it in a large bowl and put water in the bowl then start mixing it then it starts to form playdough then at that point take brown food coloring and put some in the mixture once you reach the desired softness or whatever you should have brown playdough if its not brown enough add more coloring and squish the playdough until desired color. hope this helps. O:)
yes or no
Alum is used in playdough as a preservative to prevent the growth of mold and bacteria. It also helps to improve the texture and elasticity of the playdough.
Light the oven. Put the tart in the oven. Wait. Remove the tart from the oven.
you turn it on and set the heat then put it in the oven
No, You can not put clay in the oven. A kiln is used for clay because of the heating. The oven doesn't nearly get high enough in temprature.
Yes you can. You cannot though if it's a microwave oven, and you cannot put on the oven itself, only as a lid for a pan etc.
yes playdough goes hard HA HA RICHARD WAS WRONG HA.
