Just the JLY(Just Like You)/MAG(My American Girl) dolls
The company began in 1986 to provide girls with fun, engaging, and inspiring dolls for every age of development; from baby dolls for younger girls engaging in fantasy play to the American Girl dolls for tweens discovering who they were and how they wanted to express themselves.
American Girl dolls were created to give pre-teen girls a companion in their play that had a story they could relate to, and to teach them that their struggles and worries were survivable and had solutions, and that if they worked hard enough they could achieve whatever they wanted to. American Girl dolls also celebrate the individuality of every girl.
=just to make more money I guess==Pleasant T. Rowland started Pleasant Company in 1986 with Molly, Kirsten, and Samantha, preteens that lived in different time periods. She started the company to not only teach little girls about the past, but to also allow the girls to have good-quality dolls that they could use their imaginations to play with. Rowland also noticed that the only dolls available to play with were the adult Barbie (that was not appropriate for young girls to play with) and baby dolls...so another reason to make American Girl Dolls...But the company was then bought by Mattel (Ironically the same people that produce Barbie) and it's now a money making business that promotes cheaply made dolls that are "Just Like You." i also love American girl. I personally think that American Girl is genius because little girls listen to these dolls and it teaches them history:)=
If your talking about the code that comes with My american girl dolls then you go on their website and click on play in the top right corner. search around for a bit and you should find it.
On ranking compared to other dolls of today, 9/10 stars. They are well made, and durable, fun and safe for girls to play with, and provide educational sources as well.
American Girl has Betty Twins and they are 1boy and 1girl, but other than that there isn't a store called American Boys, girls are mostly the ones that play with dolls and boys not as much
It really only depends on how old and mature they are. For those perhaps up to 6, normal baby dolls like Baby ChuChu. 6-10 perhaps 18 inch dolls like American girl and Our generation. 7-10, dolls like Barbie, Bratz and Monster High.
Nothing there just barbies and you play and dress them up
