The Sahara desert is hot because this hot desert is located in the subtropical regions called the horse latitudes. The hot deserts located in subtropical latitudes are formed by the atmospheric circulation, more precisely the Hadley Cell, characterized by a dry descending, sinking air towards the ground. When the air descends, it warms up considerably and forms a hot weather year-round. This subtropical zone of sinking air is called the subtropical ridge.

An extreme environment refers to an environment that is not the normal environment in which life flourishes. Surviving in such environments is very difficult for all life forms For example a Desert where temperature goes to around 50 degrees can be considered an extreme environment.
deserts are usually made of sand, and extreme temperatures (hot and cold) but the only thing that makes a desert a desert is the extreme temperatures and the very rare vegetation. for example, Antarctica is a desert because it is freezing cold and it doesn't really have a lot of plants. Another example would be the Sahara Desert.
The Nile river and Sahara desert was there natural environment.
When someone says it's so hot in here it feels like the Sahara desert, they are using hyperbole to emphasize how unbearably hot it is. The Sahara desert is known for its extreme temperatures, so likening a hot environment to the Sahara desert conveys the intensity of the heat experienced.

One would be helping a committee clean up pollution, taking in job inteviews and building houses. Thats what I would call human environmental interactions in the Sahara Desert. :)
The Sahara is a desert environment. It is the hottest desert in the world and covers a huge part of North Africa. Large parts of it are covered by barren landscapes and huge sand dunes.
There are two other deserts in Africa besides the Sahara - the Kalahari and the Namib.
Extreme environments offer challenges for animals and plants to live in.Extreme environments consist of:Mountains (e.g. the Andes)Deserts ( Such as the Sahara desert)Polar environmentsThese are extreme in temperature, lack of food, water, isolation, etc.
