Far as I know--- 8km(that is including trenches.
the ocean is deep because that is the shape of the earth and although we are not sure how deep the ocean is we do know that there is life in the deep. the ocean has made itself deep but there is really no cause that is known.
his name isn't well know because he is one of the less important gods he goes by the name home skilly biscuit
i dont know what is it
When subduction occurs, one tectonic plate is forced beneath another, creating deep ocean trenches. These trenches often host a variety of unique marine life due to the extreme conditions present, such as high pressure and nutrient-rich environments. Additionally, volcanic activity associated with subduction can lead to the formation of underwater volcanoes and hydrothermal vents.
I don't know what ocean currents mean but I know what deep ocean currents mean. It mean "An ocean current formed when cold water flows underneath warm water.
i really need help can someone please help me out i cant find this answer no where..Does anyone know it??its about the ocean trenches please help
Today scientists know that on average the ocean is 2.3 miles (3.7 kilometers) deep, but many parts are much shallower or deeper. The deepest parts of the ocean are trenches – long, narrow depressions, like a trench in the ground, but much bigger. The HMS Challenger sampled one of these zones at the southern end of the Mariana Trench, which might be the deepest point in the ocean. Known as the Challenger Deep, it is 35,768 to 36,037 feet deep – almost 7 miles (11 kilometers).
The phrase "deep blue sea" means any deep water - if you have ever seen really deep ocean or lake water, you know that it is a really deep blue, almost black, color.
Most trenches are found around the rim of the Pacific Ocean because this area is where several tectonic plates converge. The subduction zones created by this plate movement result in the formation of trenches as one plate is forced beneath another. This process is most active around the Pacific Plate, leading to the abundance of trenches in the region.
so we know what is going on down there!
Isn't it, " Why are very FEW fossils found in rocks made from sediment that laid down in deep ocean waters?"and i thought you would know.
