Every habitat has a carrying capacity for a given organism based on available space and resources such as food. This goes for fish in a lake. If the population of fish exceeds the carrying capacity, some of the fish will die off and reduce the population. Depending on the environment and the species, disease and predators also help keep populations under control.
Most of them don't make it because of disease, competition, predators or birth defects
The oceans are HUGE. There is tons of room in each ocean. But they are not crowded because there are many predators that like to eat the fish eggs, and many of the eggs never end up hatching. So that's why the seas aren't over-crowded.
Yes, just make sure it is not too overcrowded. If it is too overcrowded, most fish won't be able to breathe and will die.
NO salmon dont incubate their eggs, fish dont incubate their eggs at all, they lay them and the male fish swims by the fish and releases the sperm near the eggs and they become fertilized outside of the female fish.
