polar ice, tundra, coniferous forest, tropical rain forest, temperate deciduous forest, temperate grassland, savanna, desert, chaparral and mountains. And there are not only 9 there are 10. Lastly the organisms that live there are plants & animals like birds mainly.
The coniferous forest provides all types of food ranging from berries to fish, and hundreds of different places for animals to seek shelter. Bears can live and raise their young without being around people, birds have many trees to nest in, insects live among the soil, and rodents use the shelter of the trees and grasses to stay alive. There are hundreds of animals that live in a coniferous forest and if humans destroy the trees, we destroy the creatures inside them too.
Many types of caterpillars live in forests but there are very few that actually live in coniferous forests. Only the endangered willow caterpillar lives in this specific area.
Siberian tigers live in the Tundra biome. Did you know the actual name is the Amur tiger because the biome they live in isn't only in Siberia? Try Russia, China, and North Korea.
It is an evergreen forest. Both poles grow only coniferous trees. The climates at both poles can only grow trees that do not lose their leaves.
Coniferous forests are forests made up largely of conifer trees -- trees that produce cones and needles. Softwood trees such as fir, pine, spruce, and hemlock. The coniferous forest is a forest withalot of conifer trees. The wildlife there is broad. Pines, Spruces, Firs, etc are only a couple of the vast variety of trees there. A couple of the animals that live there are the red fox, the snow leopard, the nuthatch, long-eared owl, the brown bear, the black bear, and much much more. :D In the coniferous forest the winters are long and harsh and the summers short and cool. The animals that live here adapt to these strange temperatures. There is so much more to the coniferous forest but I am running out of space. So learn more about it on google, wikipedia, britinaca, etc.By: Danielle Vacek
