The 1st liberty bell was first rung in March of 1753 but cracked under test. Two more bells were made after that; the second being rejected because of the tone. The third bell was hung in the steeple of the State Hiouse in June of 1753 and first rung in August of that year.
Not that simple. The 'Independence' or 'Old Yankee's' Bell was first rung in 1753 and most famously rung on 8 July 1776 to call the people of Philadelphia to their first reading of the Declaration of Independence. The Independence Bell was not renamed the 'Liberty Bell' until 1837 when it became the icon of the American Anti-Slavery Society. iT FARTED ALOTTTTTTTT AND IT MADE A DUMP.
The Liberty Bell was hung in the tower of what is now Independence Hall in Philadelphia in 1753. It had been ordered by the Pennsylvania Assembly two years earlier in 1751 to commemorate the 50-year anniversary of William Penn's 1701 Charter of Privileges, Pennsylvania's original Constitution. Penn's Charter was extraordinary for its time in providing for religious freedom, inclusion of citizens in enacting laws, and other provisions and fittingly, the Assembly had ordered engraved on the Bell "Proclaim Liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof," from Leviticus 25:10.
The bell cracked immediately after it was hung up and rung to try the sound. It was taken down and an attempt made to repair it, but the repaired bell had an unpleasant sound. A new bell was ordered to replace it but was hung on the State House roof instead. The new bell was rung to announce the time, while the bell in Independence Hall was rung only for special events.
The bell was first rung to announce the opening of the First Continental Congress in 1774.

The Liberty Bell has never been "celebrated". It was rung on July 4, 1775 ( hence the name Liberty Bell) and it cracked, so it hasn't rung since.
People hear nothing because it is no longer rung. The Liberty Bell is an actual bell. It was last rung on February 23, 1846. It is cracked and can no longer be rung.
The bell was cast in the White Chapel bell foundry in England. It cracked the first time it was rung.

The Liberty Bell was last rung on George Washington's birthday; February 22, 1846; and it was at this ringing that the crack on the bell widened, placing it permanently out of commission. Since then, the bell has not been rung; but is ceremoniously tapped, every July 4th.
The Liberty Bell first cracked in 1835. After being allowed to go on various gatherings and expositions, the bell cracked again and some people even chipped off pieces of it as souvenirs. It has not been allowed to be rung ever again since 1915.
