Canada has a special interest in oceanexploration because of its access to three oceans: Atlantic pacific and arctic. Canada has developed technology for exploring its oceans, including a specialized diving suit called a Newt Suit and a submersible called Deep Worker.

Gannets are seabirds that typically live in coastal areas around the world. They nest in colonies on cliffs or remote islands, and they are known for their spectacular plunge diving behavior to catch fish. Gannets can be found in regions such as the North Atlantic, North Pacific, and Southern Ocean.
New Zealand sits astride two tectonic plates, the Pacific, and the Australian. The Pacific plate is subducting (diving under) the Australian plate in the north, and in the south, the Australian plate is subducting under the Pacific one. Midway between these two extremes are found the Southern Alps, and this uplift is probably caused by this complex motion.
Walruses live in the cool Arctic climates and can be found in great numbers in the Pacific & Atlantic Ocean areas around the Arctic. Good population of Pacific Walruses can be found near Bering Strait, Eastern Siberia, Alaska etc. The Atlantic population can be found in the Canadian Arctic, Greenland and even Russia. An isolated population of Walruses are also known to inhabit the Laptev Sea. They prefer shallow waters due to their limited diving abilities. They can be found in areas where their favorite prey "clams" are found in good numbers.
Some scuba diving places are Hathaway's Pond in Massachusetts, the Atlantic Ocean, and other places. In the US, you can scuba dive anywhere where the public is allowed to swim, except pools.
The difference between "regular" diving and synchronized diving is the scoring and the athletes. In "regular" diving one diver goes at a time and that one diver is scored based on that one dive. In synchronized diving, TWO people do the SAME DIVE at the SAME TIME to try and be as accurate and identical to each other as possible. The two athletes are then given ONE score for both dives based on their precision and timing.
