River Phoenix was an incredible actor. "Stand By Me" was the hit of his career, his amazing performance was recognized by tones of people. River Phoenix was also known for his sweat and humble personality, he cared for the environment and animals so much. He made tunes of friends because he was so sweet and personable. He dated actresses Martha Plimpton, Suzanne Solgot and Samantha Mathis. He died while dating Samantha. "He could never take any form of abuse." says his mother.
