As housing estate is not allow at Lake District, tourists buy their second home there which causes the locals can't afford to buy houses there

Tourism also causes soil erosion, they scares farm animals/wild animals, causing a lot of problems for local farmers as they forget to close the gate and their dog scares the sheep.

That last answer is a good one but doesn't cover all of the problems that tourism has on the lake district. Tourism can cause:

  • footpath erosion
  • the area can be urbanised
  • the environment can be changed
  • pollution in the form of wast and air
