Life long learning is a fact. All of us learn something each minute we are alive, whether big or small, directly, or indirectly, by study or by circumstance. How we take advantage of the learning experience is strictly dependent on our our willingness to assimilate and apply the lessons learned which have crossed our path. Still, remember this; acquiring knowledge is one thing, but to apply that knowledge appropriately take wisdom.

Food paranoia is a fact, not a myth.
This is a complete myth.
fact
Surely you have heard thunder and seen lightening during a storm - what you can see and measure is fact not myth.
The opposite of a myth is a fact. A myth could be something believed to be true when in fact it is false while a fact is something that has been proven. For example, a myth would be that shaving facial hair makes it grow back faster and thicker. A fact would be that the average human has 5 fingers on each hand.

Myth: Dolphins are always happy and smiling - Fact: The "smile" on a dolphin's face is the result of their anatomy, not necessarily an indicator of their emotions. Myth: Dolphins are fish - Fact: Dolphins are mammals, not fish. They breathe air, give birth to live young, and nurse their offspring with milk. Myth: All dolphins are friendly - Fact: While dolphins are known for their playful nature, wild dolphins can display aggressive behavior, especially if they feel threatened or cornered.
It can be both. But, mostly, it's a myth.
It is just another myth
