Yeah, im from fond du lac. was just kayaking today and went on an island actually. i mean its not like a sandy beautiful place. there are a few on the west shore one big one and a few small ones next to it. people usually just use for duck hunting they set up duck hunting blinds. its covered with seagulls and pelicans though i think they use it to nest. its really shallow so you cant bring a regular sized boat on it but trust me your not missing out on anything. - hope this help, aaron golemgeski.
