Dolphins, orcas, and other cetaceans do not belong in tanks in marine parks unless they are injured and being rehabilitated for eventual release back into the wild. Marine parks should not breed animals or capture them from the wild. They should not be taught to perform tricks for human amusement.
Some think so, others do not.
Yes they can and such tricks can usually been seen at marine parks.
dolphins can live in both rivers and seas, they are quite common in unpolluted areas but the most likely places to find them are in marine parks and zoos, or in dolphin experiences such as swimming with dolphins :)
If you are intersted in marine life it's a very good career to look into. But you have to remember those people you see in theme parks working with dolphins and stuff are NOT Marine biologist. Marine biologist go out into the ocean to research marine life, not play with it. If you really feel marine biology is right for you remember a lot of other people feal the same way so you might not be able to find a job.
We love dolphins because they are playful, smart, agile, friendly, cute, easy to train, great performers, and great for showing at sea world and other marine amusement parks.
Marine biologists travel to various locations around the world, such as coastlines, oceans, and research centers, to conduct fieldwork and study marine life. They may also visit aquatic research facilities, marine parks, and offshore research vessels to conduct their research. The specific locations they travel to depend on the focus of their research and the species they are studying.
probably about 40 or 50 but including water parks and aquariums and water parks about 450
What you are allowed to do in a 'marine national park' depends on what country and state/province the park is in as the rules - and the actual names - vary a lot from place to place. In Australia the different types of parks or 'protected area' include: marine national parks, marine reserves, marine sanctuaries, marine conservation areas, marine management areas, marine reserves, marine reserve areas and marine parks. Most marine protected areas have rules that limit or prohibit activities that impact on the marine animals and plants in a way that is inconsistent with the reason the protected area was set up. For example - compare different types of marine parks in NSW, Victoria and Western Australia.
Well most of the whales and dolphins and fish go into marnie parks to do shows, or they mostely there because they need to be protected from humans killing them.... Im not sure, but I know that they can do better to build some place where they can keep whales and dolphins in an better environment! That's all i have got!! Sorry
