All of the best selling cigarettes are made with chemicals specifically intended to keep you addicted, leading to better sales. Mass production is done for profit, as is the advertising to keep them on consumers' minds. If you asked a businessman which are the best, they would give you this list. They are the best to sell.
Nat Sherman cigarettes are made of the highest quality natural tobacco, with no chemical additives to ballance off tastes or cover them up. You will not see any advertisements for them because they don't need to, relying on their perfection of a craft and the return customers who come back because they are superior. They are made in smaller batches, their production optimized for quality, made in America, and you don't pay for billboards when you buy them. Nat Shermans are the best cigarettes in the world to smoke.

Hope this is what you were looking for. First, the infamous Gurkha. What an oversold stick! Now understand, I've smoked Gurkhas. It's a nice, tasty, well-constructed cigar...but Punch gives you the same thing for less money. Plus, Gurkha is a flavored cigar. To my mind, flavored cigars can never be considered the "finest" cigars in the world. And then there's the obvious lack of Cuban cigars on this list. Yes, Cuban cigars are illegal to bring into the United States. No, they are not illegal anywhere else in the world, and Robb Report readers have the money for foreign travel. So with that... The two finest cigars in the world, without question, are the Cuban Cohiba Esplendido and the Fuente Fuente Opus X. Opus X come in many sizes; Esplendidos are made in one huge size. Esplendidos you have to be careful with; it is the most counterfeited cigar in the world. Opus X are in such demand, no one will sell you a box of them. Some really great cigars include the Red Dot Cohiba (the ones that are legal to possess in the US), anything from Punch, the Ashton Virgin Shade Grown line, and Hoyo de Monterrey. The JR Ultimate and JR Genuine Counterfeit Cuban (I swear that's what they call it) are also very good cigars.
The best cigar in the world is a matter of personal taste but the cigars most commonly mentioned as best in the world are likely Cohiba and Montecristo from Cuba and Padron from Nicaragua. Oliva from Nicaragua also make fine cigars in my opinion (their Serie V rated #4 on Cigar Aficionado's best cigars of 2007).
Once upon a time, Cuban cigars were unquestionably the finest available. However, most cigar makers are in business to make money, and when Castro took over the island and nationalized the cigar industry, the best cigar makers fled Cuba with their seeds in tow. As a result, many of the finest cigars are now made outside of Cuba.
Today, many of the famous Cuban brands are also made in the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua and sold to the US market (Cuban cigars are illegal in the U.S. and the "knock-off" brands sold in the U.S. violate Cuban trademark law and are illegal in Cuba and many foreign counties.
A true Cuban Cohiba is considered one of the finest cigars in the world and will run you around fifty bucks a stick (yes, that "Cuban" you bought while on your cruise for ten bucks was a fake). The Dominican "Red Dot" version sold in the U.S. is also a very fine cigar, and is a good buy at around twelve bucks a stick. But the extremely rare, Dominican "puro" Fuente Opus X is perhaps the best cigar in the world. Very hard to find, they run around a thousand dollars a box. Good luck finding a box, though. You may find a cigar shop that will have a few singles to sell you.
great article here: http://cigaradvisor.blogspot.com/2009/04/why-i-dont-buy-cuban-cigars.html
Probably the Cuban Montecristo No.2 followed by the Cuban Cohiba Robusto. At least these are the most asked for and best selling cigars in my store and every store I go to always has them in stock.
incorrect the most selling cigar its the Alturo Fuente, most Know its the MonteCristo
You may get ten different answers from ten different people but I would throw my vote at Rocky Patel - Connecticut. Reasonably priced, smooth, creamy with buckets of smoke. Excellent cigar for long driving trips. Great with coffee. One of few I can buy by the box and not get tired of. They are humidity sensitive, too much or not enough and it will be just smoke instead of a cigar. 68 to 69% is good.
Hi, if your a beginner, i would recommend the montecristo n:5; for me, i like the Macanudo hamton, thx
