Each textbook company puts out a teacher's edition that contains the student pages as well as answers to questions or problems. There is also teaching methods, ideas to further extend the lessons, and other resources. In the CA teacher editions the state standards are listed for each lesson and examples of objectives are given. I often wrote ideas or notes in the margins or highlighted my teacher editions for various subjects. If I found a page in another book that also gave info I would write the book name and page number in the teacher edition so I would know the next year to add more info than was given in the student book. I would also make corrections on items I found that were wrong.
