Is the WikiLeaks founder really a rapist?
Two women in Stockholm, Sweden accused Julian Assange, the
editor of WikiLeaks, of rape and molestation in August 2010.
Assange denied the claims. Because he was in hiding, prosecutors
were not able to question him and thus issued a warrant for his
arrest. Later, they dropped the charge because the case lacked
credibility.
Assange has said the charges were part of a smear campaign in
retaliation for his involvement with WikiLeaks.
