Alternator is not charging. Have it tested and/or replaced.
check the battery, its probably dead
You don't have to unplug the horn to replace the battery.
You might have a bad battery, a poor connection between the battery and alternator, or a bad ground from the battery.
Malibu
To access the speakers on a 2000 Malibu, you will need to remove the door panel. You also may need tools like screwdrivers and a wire cutter to take the door panel off. Before starting any removal of the panel, you should disconnect the negative battery cable.
The starting price of a brand new 2010 Chevrolet Malibu is listed at $21,825. In reality, you will have to pay close to $23,500 for a new Malibu.
Alternator may be defective, or connections at battery may be corroded or loose. The battery itself may also be defective.
