Amanda Todd committed suicide Oct.10, 2012. She hanged herself. So if people continue to bully, it is in name only.
Because they are losers and need to get a life. They don't realize that bullying is totally unacceptable today. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
Yes, it's a form of bullying, but it has some dynamics that are different from school-yard bullying. It may have similar roots, but research has suggested that prevention efforts need to be targeted differently toward cyber bullying, because cyber bullies don't necessarily see themselves as committing the same kind of act as face-to-face bullies.
Yes, I do believe that if a student were to bully them on the internet ( or known as cyber bullying ) they should be suspended. Even if it is on the Internet, it is still considered bullying. There have been some cases where the victim committed suicide ( or known as bullycide ) because of cyber bullying. Either way, it does not matter if it was on the Internet or not, it is still bullying and it hurts the victim. It depends on where they are cyberbullying. If the School is 100% sure it is while on their premises then they may take a view to suspend a student. If it is from elsewhere then it cannot be held responsible for that student and therefore they should not suspend them.
The reason why ''Amanda Todd committed suicide'' or ''killed herself'' is...That she was keep on getting bullied and bullied everyday! Also, she was cyber-bullied too a lot. It all started when Amanda Todd send-ed those naughty pictures of herself to a guy who faked you liked her. That guy started posting her naughty picture world wide on the Internet. Which some people at her school's found those pictures of her on the Internet, which made her sad and cry almost every night! Amanda Todd traded to a lot of schools but, it still came to her, following her. Amanda Todd tried to kill herself a few times before but, people were making fun of what she was doing of killing herself, from all of that bullying and cyber-bullying. People would make fun of her of how she drank bleach!
yes
It's still called bullying.
The difference here is that cyberbullying causes more lasting emotional and social harm. Regular bullying includes physical abuse, and in many ways, physical abuse is easier to take. So you take your beating, accept that the other person is a bad person, and not let it weigh on you so much. That type of attack only targets your body, not your self-esteem, popularity, or ability to make friends. In schools, groups tend to be quite isolated, so if someone turns a few people against you, you can find another group. However, cyberbullying can turn an entire school and even and entire community against you. Even if you move to another school, cyberbullying may follow you. The old group of bullies stop since the person is out of their sight, but new bullies will find the videos and gossip, and if you have already been bullied, most bullies can sense that. So once cyberbullying starts, you might never be able to make friends again while in school. Without a support system, you are more vulnerable to suicide. With the beatings, at least you still have your friends, but with cyberbullying, they often take your friends or keep you from finding new ones since they already poisoned them against you before they ever could meet you.

Yes, it is a form of non-verbal bullying. Unless it is done in voice, like through Skype or Webcam, but it still counts as bullying.
To be fair, trolling existed long before the internet; we just called it "bullying" and "harassment" then. I mean, we still call it bullying and harassment, but the Internet opened up a whole new way for people to be awful to one another.
In Spanish, Amanda is still Amanda. In French, it is Amadine or Amandine. In Italian, it is Amaranta.
