Lately cable costs have gone up in price. You can get up to 250 channels on satellite for the same price that you can get only basic and a few premium channels. Typically satellite is the best value but it can depend on your area so it is best to research your options first.
As per me , Setellite TV is the better choice than the Cable , Becase it has more choice of channle, and entertainment.
Satellite TV is the cheaper way to go, UNLESS you happen to live in an area that is prone to severe weather such as icy winters or extreme windy conditions....
I prefer satellite tv. I have DirectTV service and many times they give free channel previews to watch around the holidays.
