To water proof your basement, use Guardian Seal Basement Waterproofing.
If you want to seal the basement to keep water out you are going about it wrong. If you seal it you are only postponing the problem. When the hydrostatic pressure on the outside of the wall gets great enough (from water building up) the water will come in one way or another. Basement waterproofing professionals know that you have to first relieve the hydrostatic pressure by letting the water in then use an above floor baseboard system to drain the water to a sump pump or drain. Waterproof.com has an above floor basement waterproofing system that you can install yourself for around $4 per foot.
Most baseboard heaters use hi voltage thermostats.
I have successfully used caulk tubes such as 'PL Premium' for this.
you should go into a bathroom if there is one in your basement (the reason why i say bathroom is because some basements are made to be like another house) but if you use your basement for storage you should take a mattress down there and stay in a corner.
The only sure way is to dig down on the outside and seal it from there. Water will tend to push out anything you use on the inside. If it was me, I think I would use some of the expanding foam in a can. If you can get the nozzle between the pipe and the concrete it should seal it. Finish the inside with some concrete patch caulk.
The basement is full of boxes. Go down to the basement. Watch the TV in the basement. My bedroom is in the basement.

To hide wires with a baseboard wire track, first remove the baseboard and install the track along the wall where you want to hide the wires. Secure the wires inside the track, then reattach the baseboard on top of the track to conceal the wires. This provides a neat and seamless way to hide wires along the baseboard.
