The Add to Google button is a way for website developers to get their content added to the user's Google homepage or their Google Reader. If the user clicks on it, they will be able to see if there is new content on the site right from their homepage.
You just click on the yellow pushpin button at the top of the screen.
On Safari, you can push the little arrow by the house icon, while your on google, and push add or change homepage, then push 'use as only homepage' or 'add to homepages'.
The Google+ 1 button is similar to Facebook's "Like" button. The + 1 button (when clicked) shares a post, article, page, etc. to your Google+ profile (under +1's) and recommends it via search. You can remove any application from add or remove program. It can be uninstalled by the uninstall button present there.
If you're talking about the setting in the top right corner of the screen where you can view Account and Privacy settings, view your profile, add an account, and sign out, If you have Google+, the icon you click to summon the settings menu will appear as your profile photo, with the +Share button directly to the left. Following the +Share button to the left, there is the Google+ notifications button and your name. Clicking your name will also bring you to the settings menu, and clicking the Google+ notifications button will summon a pop-up that displays the 9 most recent Google+ notifications. Clicking the +Share button will summon a pop-up that you can use to share text, images, videos, links, or events with your circles on Google+.
You can add a placemark in Google Earth by clicking Placemark option under the Add menu or the "Add Placemark" button on the toolbar. If you have a PC, then just go to Google.com and click on the button that is on the top right of the screen. Click on it and it will come up with a window that asks if you want to use Google as your only homepage. Other homepage choices are available along with that.
