Short answer:
An IC is a "Integrated Chip".
An OrGate is a 2 (or more) input chip with onlt 1 output.
Longer answer: IC stands for Integrated Circuit, we call them "Chips" and they have multiple electronic devices integrated into them like resistors, transistors, capacitors, all in one package to make monolithic circuit package, to form everything from AndGates, OrGates, NorGates, ExOrGates, Buffers, to microprocessors and more.
an Or Gate is a digital divice with two or more INPUTS that will produce a digital OUTPUT depending on the input, if one OR the other inputs have an inupt of 1 the output will be 1 otherwise it will be 0. they are used to make "logic" and "arithmetic circuits" from calculators to computers to network cards and routers and much more.
74ls00 is the ic no. Of nand gate

IC 7402 is different from the other type of IC like 7404,7408,7432 and 7400 when it is connected to have an output desired... if you noticed all i mentioned ic is connected from left to the right. input pin 1 and 2, output pin 3 input pin 4 and 5, output pin 6 input pin 13 and 12, output pin 11 input pin 10 and 9, output pin 8 while in nor gate, to have the desired output it must be connected from right to left... input pin 2 and 3, output pin 1 input pin 5 and 6, output pin 4 input pin 8 and 9, output pin 10 input pin 11 and 12, output pin 13
It is IC for logic AND gate.
the easiest way to make an xnor gate is with a 7486 (or equivalent) integrated circuit, a quad xor gate. connect the output of one gate to one in put of another gate. connect the other input of the second gate to Vcc. the second xor gate will then act as an inverter.

1. Explain NOR gate as Universal Gate A NOR gate is a simple OR gate with an inverter (NOT gate) at the output. NOR gates are considered Universal Gates because thay can be configured in a few different ways. Connecting the inputs on a NOR gate will result in a NOT gate (inverter). Connecting the above to the output of a NOR gate results in an OR gate.
You can use a second gate on the same IC to invert the output (most OR-gate ICs I know of have 4 gates per chip). Do this by tying the output of the first gate to both inputs of the spare gate.
For two input AND gate it is 7408for three input AND gate it is 7411
IC 7432 is an "OR GATE"
electron mobility in nand 3 times more tat of nor gate. This makes nand faster than nor.
