Yes, depending on the iDevice you have you may need an updated Software Version but all iPhone devices have that option now.
No, no newer version for Windows exists. They will be releasing a version for the iPhone and the iPod Touch however.

Exporting contacts 1. go to palm desktop on your PC 2. export your contacts from there to Microsoft outlook or windows contacts. 3. go onto itunes, click on your iPhone, select the contacts tab. 4. import contacts from Microsoft outlook or windows contacts. This may not work as i have a very old version of palm desktop. THIS EXPLANATION ONLY WORKS IF YOU HAVE PALM DESKTOP.
There is a free iTunes App called My Contacts backup. The app allows you to export all your iPhone contacts and to send it to yourself via Email, making it quite easy to import the contacts on the new iPhone.
Your iPhones contacts can be synched with your computers contacts though iTunes. You can set this up by plugging in your iPhone, Opening iTunes, clicking on Contacts, and then checking the box next to sync.

You have to get the Sony Ericsson Suite to copy them all into my Windows contacts. Tidied them up a bit, then synchronised with iTunes. Or you can synchronize your phone directly via GPRS/3G to PhoneCopy.com and then use PhoneCopy for iPhone App to get contacts to your iPhone. And you get cloud backup of your contacts as benefit.
It depends if the original phone the SIM card belonged to was saving them to the SIM card itself. Here's some clarification: The SIM card will retain contacts from a previous phone. The iPhone will not recognize SIM contacts until they are imported to the Contact list via Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Import SIM Contacts The iPhone does not save contacts to the SIM card, and therefore if the SIM is from an old iPhone there won't be any SIM contacts present.
From your blackberry ,copy all your contacts to your sim card. Then remove the sim from your bnlackberry and put it inside the iphone. On your iphone do the import sim contacts.
