∙ 12y agodo you seriously think that theres a hole in the piston in all the cylinders? or the rings are gone in all the cylinders.. highly unlikely.. the main cause of loss of compression is the rings are burnt gone. the rings are stuck, the valves are stuck, hole in the piston and/or head, bent valves, or the timing chain/belt came off, or broke.
with all the cylinders being down, i'd look into the last one. that's the only thing that would be logical to effect all the cylinders evenly.

∙ 12y agoIf someone is looking to purchase a diesel engine compression tester there are a variety of online sources. One can find these testers on sites such as Mercedes Source, Harbor Freight, Amazon or eBay.
Normal compression on a gasoline engine is about 125 psi.
No, The compression test is done as the starter cranks the engine
The correct engine compression on a 1972 Datsun B110 is a 15:1 compression.
Normal engine compression would be 100-125psi
There is no separate compression stroke on a 2 stroke engine, but there is compression - the intake and compression take place on the same staroke, the intake on the first part and compression on the later part.
Compression testing is done on engines and it establishes whether the engine has good compression. Good compression is needed for the engine to start easily and run efficiently.
Box compression tester in Gujarat uses as a tool to check an engine's compression. It enables the user to gauge the engine's pressure output to make sure it is operating effectively. Compression testers are necessary for both detecting engine issues and optimizing engine configuration.
The engine compression creates enough heat for the fuel to combust. The engine compression creates enough heat for the fuel to combust.
The higher compression the engine the more power it can theoretically produce. The compression ratio is mainly determined by the type of fuel being used.
Depends on why there is no compression.
I think you have a typographical error in your question. The question I believe is "What is a compression ignition engine?" The answer is:- A diesel engine is a compression ignition engine.
