The telephone country code for the USA is +1.
To send a text to a US mobile phone (cell phone), the number is +1 (three-digit area code) (7-digit subscriber number). The US uses the same geographic area codes for mobile numbers as for landlines; there is no distinction in the numbering.
(The plus sign means "insert your international access prefix here." From a GSM mobile phone, you can enter the number in full international format, starting with the plus sign. The most common prefix is 00, but North America (USA, Canada, etc.) uses 011, Japan uses 010, Australia uses 0011, and many other countries use different prefixes.)
The first telephone area codes were issued for the USA and Canada in 1947. The first telephone area codes were issued in the UK in 1958.
You can find area codes for calling the USA at the allareacodes website. There you can type in the city of the phone number you are trying to call and get the area code for it.

It depends on what restrictions you place on the three-digit numbers that are usable as telephone area codes. There are 1,000 three-digit numbers, if you include every combination from 000 through 999. In North America, though, 3-digit area codes have significant restrictions. The first digit cannot be 0 or 1 and the second digit cannot be 9. Area codes of the form N11 are not allowed due to conflicts with short codes for things like emergency services (911) and TDD relay (711). Other area codes with the second and third digits the same (such as 800, 888, 844, and 900) are reserved as "easily remembered" codes. That brings the total down to 648 regular area codes plus 64 special "easily remembered" codes.
There is no telephone area code +1 526 in North America (USA, Canada, etc.).Country code +52 is Mexico, and area codes beginning with 6 are in the northwest part of the country, but you need two more digits to be more specific. Landline numbers are +52 6xx; mobile numbers are +52 1 6xx, using the same geographic area codes. The subscriber number in all 6xx area codes in Mexico is always 7 digits.(The plus sign means "insert your international access prefix here." From a GSM mobile phone, you can enter the number in full international format, starting with the plus sign. The most common prefix is 00, but North America (USA, Canada, etc.) uses 011, Japan uses 010, Australia uses 0011, and many other countries use different prefixes.)
Area code 512 was one of the original 86 area codes assigned in 1947. At that time, it served all of south Texas, including San Antonio, Corpus Christi, and Brownsville, as well as the Austin area.
There is no area code 523 in North America (USA, Canada, etc.). International country code +52 is Mexico.
