The Catholic Church's core value is spreading the message of Jesus Christ. Its core is expressed through the administering of the Sacraments and exercising charity. It's core values include compassion and preserving the rights of others through social programs that help the poor, the elderly and the sick. Catholic beliefs are based on The Bible and traditions. Perhaps it may be said that an even more foundational core value of the Catholic Church is to assist every one in the world - including we ourselves - to know, love, and serve Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, both in this life and in the next.
