But, they should leave their phones on vibrate, and leave the classroom if they get a call. under no circumstances should they be chatting with their "bffs" in the middle of a lecture.
Phones shouldn't be banned from school because children might need to communicate with their parents. Also, if a child is sick, they would need to call home. Plus, you never know when a phone can come in handy! Like if there is a fire, a cruel person or someone who is ill, or if someone is hurt, the teachers or a child can call 911.
