It does appear this is a mini dock/battery charger for the Archos 5 internet media tablet. I found the following link to the company's web site and directs to the specific product you want. http://www.archos.com/products/imt/archos_5/accessories.html?country=ru〈=en&p=battery Gomadic also has one without needing the dock...

No. The Archos 7 is a IMT (Internet Media Tablet) not a phone. Although it can perform a few capabilites that a phone would have.
Yeah its a really good make and very worth the money. I have a tablet from archos they can store all your apps media and photos.. Even more. You can browse the web and go on social networking sites. Mine is very good and fun to use.
One can download Archos Media Player at the Google App Store, Liliputing and the official Archos website. There are two different versions. One of them is free but contains ads and the other has to be purchased.

You cannot put computer programs (like Microsoft Office Word, Windows media player, or IWork 09) on your Archos but you can put any flash game or other flash applications on it (providing its flash 9 or under) see link below for further details http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cE55byMRMCE Note: the person in the video is using Windows Vista if you have a different operating system the flash file might look different.
After speaking to both Archos tech support and their head office, it turns out you cannot organise your music folders alphabetically on the Archos 2 mp3 player.
I would have to say the Archos portable media player would be the best choice for this question. This particular media player has the ability to synchronize with cable or satellite provider in order to schedule and record television shows. By having this capability this allows the Archos to have as many television stations as your cable or satellite provider. In other words, the stations you have available on your regular television model will be exactly the same amount that will be available to you on your Archos media player.

Yes, the Nexus 7 has a Micro USB 2.0, that is used for charging and syncing media. The USB port is located at the bottom edge of the tablet, where you can plug the charger cord into it and plug the other end into the computer or into the wall charger attachment.
No - It's simply a media player - designed to view stuff you've downloaded.
