Why would an American Standard Cadet Series toilet drain it's water from the bowl?
I have heard that sometimes certain toilets under certain conditions can cause siphoning of water from the bowl of other toilets. Of course, that would require you to have two toilets on premises. If so, check the Cadet water level before and after flushing the non-Cadet toilet. Good Luck

after buying one without doing any research i would say it has a very poor rating of reliability as mine and many others (after doing the research when it didn't work properly) have found out. no truth in the saying you get what you pay for. When it did work it was good but a toilet should last more than 1 year.

What are the best toilets to buy?
Well this is a tuff one, I worked in plumbing for 3 years, and some people swear by "Toto" toilet. Its more for a upperclass house,and it has certain features that some dont, but anyone can have it.Its all about the $$$. But if you ask any regular joe smoe plumbler, they like "American standard." They are easy to fix and are economic when it comes to water saveing. joe hojasANS 2 - Toto IS the best reasonably priced toilet. They beat similar priced American Standard every time. I would have nothing but Toto in my home. They are no more difficult to fix than AS and always flush much more efficiently.

I sold toilets for six years. We carried American Standard, Kohler and a couple of house brands--Pegasus and Glacier Bay. Kohler was our best brand. American Standard was good too, but the Kohler seemed to work the best.
