How much would you be charged. Well that all depends now doesn't it. If you driving at 300 km/h down a 50 km/h zone, that's liek $100,000 for speeding, if your in a ferrari and you hit the hydrant that's going to be like $500,000 for the car and probably approx. $2,000 for the hydrant and then you get charged for dangerous driving. So all together it would be good to avoid this type of situation.
