First of all, you need a unique tool to help you download songs that you like. I think the AudiCable Audio Recorder is the best choice for you. It can help you download songs from various music platforms and keep the original sound quality. Just need a few easy operation steps, you can finish downloading songs from your computer to your iPhone.
Connect the iPhone/iPod/iPad to the computer.
Launch the iTunes software.
Select your device in the left hand pane.
If this is the first time you have connected you can set some details such as naming the device etc.
Along the top of the right hand pane are tabs indicating which media can be loaded onto the device.
Select the Music tab and select which playlist, artist, genre etc. that you want to load.
Click the Apply button and wait until iTunes has finished loading the music onto the device.
Click the Eject button next to the device's name in the left hand pane.
Done.
Itunes.
Yes, once you have iTunes running you can add existing mp3's to your library. You can also rip your CD's to the iTunes library. These can then be sync'ed to your ipod
iTunes is an apple only program, so it is impossible to install it on your Nexus 7. Fortunately, there are other options available such as Google Music, Spotify, and Beats Music.

Apple was eager to please the music industry, and design iTunes and iPod to prevent piracy of music, which is what you are asking instructions for. It is nearly impossible to do what you ask without a 3rd-party program of some sort. You could find CopyTRans by Googling for it, and load it on your iTunes computer. I haven't used it, but they say it works OK.
Load the music files into iTunes, and select "Synchronize".
