It depends if the original phone the SIM card belonged to was saving them to the SIM card itself. Here's some clarification: The SIM card will retain contacts from a previous phone. The iPhone will not recognize SIM contacts until they are imported to the Contact list via Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Import SIM Contacts The iPhone does not save contacts to the SIM card, and therefore if the SIM is from an old iPhone there won't be any SIM contacts present.
copy them to the simand then to the other phone it cane be done after "marking" all of your contacts and then selecting copy to sim and on the blackberry you just import them from the sim card
"The handset is unable to display the SIM contacts unless you choose to import them but that is basically our only grudge against it" You probably cannot save contact to SIM.
Put sim card into nokia, go into Contact list -OPTIONS > MARK ALLOPTIONS > MOVE SELECTED (Choose sim card)Put sim card into iphone...SETTINGS > MAIL, CONTACTS, CALENDERScroll down a bit > IMPORT SIM CONTACTS ;)frisky
You can send vcards via Bluetooth, copy the numbers via a sim card reader to your computer, then onto your contacts, via ms outlook or import via syncing in iTunes and ensure you import your address book.
First go to your address book. then click settings (the three bars at the top left hand corner) after that just scroll down to settings and finally just click import sim contacts. hope this helped :)
You can do so by entering your phone application and navigating to the fourth tab at the bottom of the screen - The contacts view, in other words. Press the menu button on your keyboard and choose "Import from SIM". This downloads all contacts from your SIM card to the internal memory of your phone.
how we import contacts by files
Dear user , The problem is with your phone SIM CARD READER , simply it just does have enough pressure on it behind , fold a piece of paper and put it on the NON GOLD SIDE , just wedge it in between the sim and the holder
Go into your menu and select "Address Book." Scroll all the way to the bottom, and there should be an option called "SIM management." Select that, and you can choose to copy contacts to your SIM card, delete contacts from SIM card, or copy contacts from your SIM card.Note: you must go to the address book through the menu, not by selecting contacts. If you select contacts, you will not have the option to save to SIM.
i just broke my sim card and need my contacts, how can i get them?
