on my 95' explorer if you turn the radio off you can get the clock. also there is usually a button you press for "display" or says "clock".
you must re enter the security code for the radio to work
the power has been disconnected for too long of a time and the security system on your radio was activated. look in your owner's manual for a keycode to unlock it.
Read the owners manual. Turn the key to the on position (not start) with the radio off. Wait 10 seconds. Press the "display" button on the radio and hold for 10 to 12 seconds. the radio display will light up . PRESS "display" and "1" to select functions. display i think is enter . read owners MANUAL. It's really simple. Turn the key on but not to start the engine. Make sure the radio is off and hit the "display" button for a couple of seconds, the big knob on the bottom on the left of your radio until the "settings" display shows. Hit the scan button to the right until "Tire pressure" comes up. Hit # 1 on your radio select buttons until it says "reset". Push the "display" button until you hear a "beep". Press the scan button a couple of times until it says "exit" then press "display". After it "beeps" you're all done. If you had an owners manual why would you ask for help.
I have Ford Ranger 2004 Model my battery was flat now my radio cant play it says it needs a code.
you need the radio code specific to that radio. err means error. it will be either in the owners manual at the front or it maybe somewhere in the audio booklet. failing that you probably have to ring up ford for the radio code.Alternatively, when the display shows a flashing "err" you have entered an incorrect code three times - this method might fix it.Note: You'll still need the correct radio security code...Switch the ignition to accessorory mode (first stop), and LEAVE IT until it changes to "code"- this can take anything from 20-80 minutes.Enter the radio security code.Worked for me!Good luck!
How do you reset a ford falcon forte audio system CD player when it says err?A: When the display shows a flashing "err" you would have entered an incorrect code three times - this method should fix it.Note: You'll still need the correct radio security code...Switch the ignition to accessorory mode (first stop), and LEAVE IT until it changes to "code"- this can take anything from 20-80 minutes.Enter the radio security code.Worked for me!Good luck!
some vehicles have loc features on the stereos, if you do not lock it out properly then you need to go to a dealer to have it rest . theft prevention
look to the right of the radio for a button that says clock. push it and your display shoulg show "set hour" or something similar. use the radio tuning knob to set the hour. push the button again for minutes and use the tuning to set them. if you have an older van there 2 small/tiny buttons to the right of the radio display screen. use a pen tip to push them. they are marked HH and MM.
Who is it who says "on" on heart
if you input one or two incorrect pin. err will flash in the display. after two seconds code will reappear in the display. after three incorrect attempts you will need to wait for 60 minutes, with err displayed before trying again.
If you look under the knob that says display, there are 2 small buttons on each side. Make sure the radio is off, and the hold the "hour" button until you hear a beep. then you can use the buttons to adjust the hour and minutes
