If a fuse box is sparking, that indicates a short circuit within the box. In order to fix it you must first cut the main power switch. But before you do that, ensure that you have a good flashlight so that you can see what you're doing. Using an insulated screwdriver, remove the screws on the panel face and remove it. Remember, the board is still live so don't go sticking your fingers in it.
Visually inspect each set of wires and look for any wires that may be charred or that have a smoky appearance on the insulated covering. This is a good indicator that there may be a short. When an appliance is activated on that circuit, electricity is pulled from source through the wires toward the appliance. Since electricity tends to follow the shortest path, a bare or thinly insulated wire could cause the juice to arc (leap) across a space toward ground. This unauthorized pathway will result in a spark.
The damaged wire will need to be repaired using electrical tape on the exposed area.
This is when you will shut the panel down and using your flashlight, make the repair on the damaged wire.
Another problem could be a loose connection. With the power off, wiggle each wire and see if it has worked loose. Tighten any loose wires.
CAUTION!: The Main Electrical Panel in the average house is rated for 100 amperes or more. Given that it only takes .5 ampere to kill; don't attempt to fix this problem yourself if you are unsure of your ability to do so safely.

To fix a burned wire that is plugged in at the fuse box under the Battery sign, the wire will have to be removed and a new one soldered in place. Before doing this, find the cause or overload that caused this wire to burn in the first place. It could be that a fuse of too high an Amp was placed in the fuse box by mistake.
Unplugging the system from the fuse box should reset the display. If this doesn't help then reset the fuse in the fuse box.
