How do you delete an account YouTube?

Closing your YouTube account will delete your videos, channel, and profile. You will also not be able to open a new account with the same username.

If you still wish to close your YouTube account, please follow the steps below:

1. Sign in with your username and password.
2. Click on your username in the upper-right corner.
3. In the drop down menu, click Settings.
4. On the left side of the page, click Manage Account.
5. Click the Close Account drop down link, enter the reason you're closing the account, and click the Close Account button.

You may still see thumbnails of your videos on the site as the site takes a while to update and synchronize. Please be assured that your videos have been removed from the site and the thumbnails will be removed from the site soon.

If you'd only like to unsubscribe from our email lists, go to email options, which are found in your Account Settings Page.

Step one: Mouse over your user name in the right hand top corner of your screen.

Step two: Click on the "account button that will appear.

Step three: On the left of your screen there is a place that says "Manage account" you click on that.

Step four: Write a reason to delete your account and click "delete".
Go to Account Settings and then select Manage Account.

Then you can click on Close Account.

1.Sign in to your account that you want to delete.

2.Click on your user name surrounded with the rectangular box at the right hand corner and click on it

3.Go to settings and click on it

4.When you get in you will be on the overview tab with all of your account info and on that tab you will see the e-mail you used for that account and under it is a blue button it says advanced and click on that

5.and drop down all the way to the bottom and it will say close account click on that

now it wont literally just close your account it will put up a box and just ignore that cr@p and on the very bottom it will be a type box and you have to type in a reason and after your done it will close your account
