you open the battery case and push the small red "Sync button"
It is a plug that moves up and down by a rod behind the faucets.
Partial clog or not enough or proper venting. If it is a single sink, there may not be a vent to it. On a double sink, one side vents from the other. On a single the water is trying to push past the air in the drain.
Heck no as the sink is higher then the basement drain and water does NOT flow up hill BUT it does seek its own level BUT you can connect a sink drain to a basement drain if you properly trap and vent the line
i don't really know but if your sink smells bad, the peel of citris food like: oranges, lemon, lime, and other acid food, is great to unstink the stink. really works every time at my house. my moms food stink so bad that win you wash it the stink stays in the sink. do you know the button that starts the loud noise in the sink? the sink drain without the protection net in the one that you put in the peels and push the button for about 10 sec. four times and your done.
Plumbing Repair Sink Drain Houston TX
Probably not, depends on where the clog is at and how the dishwasher drain is connected. I wouldn't chance it, but the worst that will happen is the sink will fill with the water from the dishwasher.
For slow draining/plugged bathroom sinks then most of the problems are either in the trap, push/pull or within 10' of your sink drain line in most homes. For a home owner, I recommend buying a 1/4 inch snake and taking out your push/pull or drain stop and then snaking out from the sink drain and if you unplug the sink drain make sure you run water down your drain as you snake out the sink drain and that will make your snake clear the pipes better. If you can't get your push/pull out, then get a bucket and take off the trap then you can snake out your drain and or clean out your trap. When you put the trap back together its a good idea to use pipe seal/dope around your compression nuts or in some cases buy a new trap.
The overflow is built into the sink, it is not part of the drain. If there is no overflow, you can not add it.
the sewer is where things that you flush or put down the drain go, a drain is the opening is a sink or shower that sends things to the sewer
If it is a double sink, does the other side drain? Are you trying to fix the disposal because it does not come on or because it comes on but does not drain. If it comes on but does not drain and the other side does, it is probably just clogged with food. They make drain cleaners for disposals. If neither side drains, put the stopper in the disposal side, hold down on it and plunge the other side.
That's possible but difficult and seemingly unnecessary. Why not just lead it's drain to the garden or to perimeter drain.
