Cell phones are integral to modern societies because of their usefulness in transmitting the information upon which post Industrialized societies depend. However, this technological leap forward is not without repercussions. Teachers are having increasing difficultly maintaining their student's focus in class. This is due in part by the increase in both cell phone ownership amongst younger individuals as well as the increasing sophistication of the devices they own. Safe to say, one could easily understand why a young adult, bored in his or her last class of the day would rather turn to tetris than spend another hour repeatedly solving Linear inequalities or texting their friends instead of reading Oedipus Rex. Tweeting could bring about a radical shift towards Narcissism but that's an opinion of mine not a fact. There are other consequences and others are sure to arise in time but a problem developed nations are dealing with today is the issue of teens ignoring their studies during school to play with cell phones.
the cell phone had a big effect on the world because they never had cordless phones and now they could have a phone that you can use wile walking!!!!!and it would effect it because when you on the phone and you have to do something and you forget it because you be to busy on the phone texting or on the phone with somebody
The use of cell phones does not have a significant impact on the environment, although the production of cellphones and powering of cell phones may have a slight effect.
A:
Cell phones gave a large percentage of the world's population an inexpensive, easy-to-use means of communicating with almost anyone else on the planet. This change is so broad and all-incompassing that the effects are not fully known to anyone at this time. However, a very few examples of change would be in areas of:
it has made a fast and easy compact on the world...and a huge number of other areas. Some say that communications is the most important and powerful aspect of society. The complete answer is both not fully understood at this time, and far exceeds the scope of an article here.
Some authorities believe that the microwave radiation from cell phones used close to the head may be related to brain tumors. This is disputed by others, not-too-surprisingly including experts working for the phone companies.
What is not under dispute is the role of cell phones in auto accidents, and in other kinds of accidents that can be caused by inattention and distraction. A number of studies have shown that cell phone use while driving or performing other tasks that require close attention causees the same degree of impairment (and number of accidents) as being drunk, whether or not a hands-free device was used.

Cell phones are not a bad ting. I think so because they are your protection. But if you think cellphones are bad that's your deal.

The effect of cell phones on society. Let me sum it up for you: It connected many people from around the world, extremely quickened communication, got people addicted to texting their friends, and caused many automobile accidents. Good and bad. But, I think it was more good than bad.
