A Sim card reader is used to back up a person's list of contacts on their Sim card. This enables the revival of contact information if the Sim card is lost or damaged.

Copy them on SIM card, then from SIM card on another mobile.
No sim cards are only for numbers
There is nothing like a dual sim card, but rather a dual sim card phone. A phone with two sim card slots, allowing you to carry two numbers and switch from one to the other. This is super popular in China.
It says 'Sim card not ready' because it has to load the sim card info, it could be your phone book list or messages. The more info you have stored on a sim card, the longer it will take to load. While loading, it displays the 'Sim card not ready' message. --- Other suggestion: I've been having some problems of 'SIM card not inserted' in my NOKIA 6100 and it usually fixes the problem if I take the card out and insert it again. Strangely, I got that error ('Sim card not ready') today, even if the network availability bars where full and I couldn't see the list of phone numbers in any way. Doing the same thing as in the previous problem, ie, taking the card out and in again, solved the issue.
It depends where the numbers were stored. If they're in the phone's memory, inserting a duplicate SIM card should allow the user to retrieve them. If the numbers were stored on the old SIM card - then no.

You save all of your numbers to your sim card on your old phone then put your sim card in your new phone. Simple. :D
No you cannot. SIM only save texts, and numbers. You might be able to transfer with an SD card.
