****Sorry for it being so long just wanted to cover everything you need to know*****
It is very hard to unlock sprint phones for another network , but I ran across this company called Ting. You can actually bring your sprint phone over to there phone service without having to change anything. You can do this temp or long term because its no contract. I am not a heavy user on my sprint phone I have the galaxy S4. So this company is good if you are just tried of your phone sitting there. Here is a link for a 25 dollar credit which will cover you activation fee of 6 dollars
https://zap09i2n2m6.ting.com/. Its worth a try, They have a full list of prices on the site. Plus its a monthly bill but no contract. And you only pay for as much as you use. I clicked on someones link and it gave me 25. Just trying to share my luck plus I get a 25 credit for sharing. You can Google it to get to it and set up that way but you wont get the credit. Hope this helps. Oh and sign up and activation only took 5 mins! And if you sign up with your amazon account you do not have to add a card at sign up. And one more thing your credit can go to your first month bill or to purchasing a phone off their site. Hopes this helps.
Since 7/15/03, US Cellular will NOT activate a phone unless it is US Cellular-sourced. That merely means that it was originally sold by US Cellular or an authorized agent. It does NOT mean you have to buy the phone from a US Cellular store. You CAN buy a phone from a friend, eBay, or wherever, but it MUST be US Cellular-branded. Also, phones can be direct-purchased from some manufacturer's, most notably Motorola. They will ask you who you're carrier is, and ship the phone US Cellular-branded. These phones can be activated.
boost cingular verizon sprint metro at&t
Probably, it depends on where your phone is actually from because the frequencies may not be the same. However, Sprint is a major US cellular carrier and it is likely that your phone will work fine.
well i worked for sprint as a tower tech and for all the peeps out there that don't know sprint Verizon us cellular alltel before Verizon bought them out all work on cdma based towers code division multipule accsess hense when your receive your us cellular message your roaming on there towers and here is the real kicker i work for sprint and they give me free phone but have us cellular for personal there cheaper and the coverage for voice is superb compared to sprint there data coverage 3g style is lacking still but all in all i love my us cellular phone but that why you getting that message your roaming on there towers if you will even though most of the above carriers just use the same towers and just add there reapeter to it and its usally a message gg22 or something
