Boost mobile sim cards will only work with boost mobile on the nextel network nextel is a iden network standalone that will not roam on gsm networks because nextel is a iden network
how can i upgrade my boost mobile cell phones and how much is it?
The answer to that question is Possibly, and No. Half of the Boost Mobile phones use IDEN radios (Integrated Digital Enhanced Network). The phones are easy to identify- they have Direct Connect (the "chirp"). These CAN NOT be used on any service but Boost Mobile, or if unlocked, Nextel (Or Telus in Canada). The other half of the Boost Mobile Phones use CDMA radios (Code Division Multiple Access), and could feasibly be unlocked to be used with Virgin Mobile. Whether Virgin Mobile would choose to allow them on the network is a whole additional answer (doubtful), but the technology technically would work.
Boost Mobile has a wide variety of HTC phones and accessories.
Boost mobile phones and AT&T mobile phones are very similar. In fact, some of the phones are identical. While Boost definitely is cheaper for service, I can't say that their phones are any better.
Boost mobile has two types of service, CDMA and IDEN. So technically its CDMA and TDMA, they do not have GSM service.
I personally am not familiar with the brand of Boost Mobile phone. I have researched the Boost Mobile company and have found that they do offer their phones through stores such as Best Buy.
If you are wanting to find Boost Mobile phone you can go directly to the Boost store and find the phones. You may also try the Boost website as well. They offer many styles of Boost phones.
