You can switch carriers all you want, of course, but you would need a Verizon phone to use on the Verizon network. If you have an unlocked phone, you would want to call and verify it with customer service. Their number is 1-800-922-0204, by the way.
Verizon wireless and at&t
AT&T as of now, rumors are Verizon 2011.
Yes, the iPhone is a cell phone provided by AT&T and Verizon Wireless.
Apple is not signing a contract with Verizon Wireless. However, Verizon Wireless has signed a contract with Google and now carries two Droid phones. Which does all the things the Iphone does plus some! Check them out!!
no, they are the exact same phone just with different carriers.
No, V Cast is a service of Verizon Wireless, the iPhone is currently exclusive to AT&T in the USA
No No NO!!!! At&t is Verizon Wireless's competitor... it is no way part of Verizon wireless.
You cannot. Verizon = CDMA AT&T = GSM (network that houses the iPhone) CDMA and GSM are not compatable.
yes if you have a iPhone with at&t . the way to switch iPhone carriers is take the iPhone sim card out and put a t moilble sim card or Verizon or sprint or boost moilble or whatever phone company
Apple and AT&T made a buisness deal a few years ago, and as you may know, AT&T and Verizon are one of the biggest rivalies in the wireless phone buisness. And, the iPhone is designed for AT&T service, and you need a SIM card for the iPhone, which Verizon doesn't have. So the answer is no.
At&t or the apple store (it might be coming to Verizon wireless but not now)
The AT&T version of both the iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 are built on what's called GSM radio technology (used by both AT&T and T-Mobile in the US). Meanwhile, Verizon and Sprint use a completely different technology called CDMA. The two standards are incompatible. They use different radios and operate on different wireless frequencies. So, no, you cannot take your existing AT&T iPhone and walk into a Verizon store and simply switch networks. Even if you own an iPhone 4 you will have to purchase a completely new iPhone 4 with CDMA chips in order for it to work on Verizon.
