Sure. You need to replace the barrel, stock, sideplate assembly, trigger guard assembly and add the stock hardware from the Glenfield Model 70. Estimate around $150 or so.

In other words, it's much cheaper just to buy or trade for a clip-fed model if you prefer that type of cartridge feed mechanism. Oh, and that inline magazine that everyone calls a "clip" isn't a clip, technically. It a magazine. Mausers use "charger" clips. Mannlichers and M1 Garands use "en-bloc" clips. Some highly technical people get extremely bent if someone asks for "clips" when they actually mean magazines. Lol.
Marlin makes 7 and 10 round magazines. Aftermarket companies like Ram-Line makes 20, 25, and 30 round magazines for the Marlin/Glenfield.
the model 60 is tube fed where the 70 is a clip fed model there are some small differences but manily the 70 is a 60 with no tube,or feeing lips just has a mag holder instead and the stock has that hole for the mag cut out that's really it
The marlin model 990 was made to hold 18 rounds in its tube magazine.

Never heard of a Winchester model 80. There is a Marlin model 80.
The model 80 uses a detachable magazine whereas the model 81 has an attached tube magazine.
A Marlin Model 60 is a very popular rifle. To find an inner magazine tube for this firearm, you can turn to your local gun dealer. There are also a variety of online resources available that will offer this piece for sale.
The owner's manual that came with my Marlin model 700 is dated February 1989. I bought mine in November of 1989. Because of the rarity of this model and the popularity of the model 60 (tube fed), I think it was only made for that year.
According to the Gun Bluebook Wards Western Field Model 40 was made bu Marlin. It is a Marlin model 101. However both tube fed and magizine fed guns have been labeled model 40. I have one and it looks just like a marlin model 101.
Workhorse Marlin rifle made for many years until supplanted by the Model 780. Marlin made these in clip magazine and tube magazine versions, with slight variation the Model 81, and thousands of store-brand guns for Sears, Wards, etc. Take care of it and it will last forever. If it doesn't, we make new extractors, firing pins, etc for that model. Not collectable, but valued as a shooter. They routinely sell from $75-$150 over the counter. sales@countrygunsmith.net
yes, I own two model 60s and one model 75. Most of their parts are interchangeable. The tube magazine and the barrel are shorter on the model 75.
Gun shop, gun show, want ad, Brownell's
Yes in tube feed bolt action. Kinda odd looking bolt handle.
