The new CEO for Microsoft is Satya Nadella. He was named CEO on February 4, 2014. He joined Microsoft in 1992 and prior to becoming CEO, served as the executive vice president of Microsoft's Cloud and Enterprise group. He also led research and development for the Online Services Division at Microsoft. Prior to joining Microsoft, he worked for Sun Microsystems. He is originally from Hyderabad, India and earned his bachelor's in electrical engineering from Mangalore University, a master's degree in computer science from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Chicago.
