Studio is way better as it has noise eliminator or whatever you call it and it also has better sound quality. the bad thing about studio is that it can be easily damaged unlike solo......so if you can take good care then i would purchase the studios otherwise solos because they also give out good sound quality.
Studio, if you are willing to pay more, it has better sound than beats and solo hd.
Now, if you want to carry the headphones with no problem buy the solo, remember that the studio is usually to mix and add music casual guy, if you just want to hear music and have fun the solo hd because it easy to carry its lighter and its feels good on your ears
Beats by Dr Dre Studio is just for posers. Dr Dre is simply unqualified and a phony. Bose is overrated, but better.

I think you should get the Beats by Dr. Dre Studio headphone because I personally think they have better sound and bass.
