First, I assume you have the samsung usb cable to connect your player to a PC. I have a samsung mp3 and when I plug it in to the usb port the storage in the mp3 player will show up as a "device with removable storage" on "MY Computer". when you open the drive you should see a "music" folder. Copy your mp3 files into that folder. I had to use this method because samsung media studio [which is samsung's proprietary software)] didn't recognize my player as the "portable"
