The Supremes first appeared as the Primettes in 1959, in 1960 the group signed with Motown and became the trio of Diana Ross, Florence Ballard and Mary Wilson. Their genres include rock and roll, pop, R&B, soul, Motown, doo-wop and disco. Achieving huge success Motown renamed the Supremes to Diana Ross & the Supremes.
