Using Steam, click play Mass Effect 2. A window should pop up asking whether you want to start ME2 or ME2 launcher. Select the Launcher and once it comes up click on Configuration. In configuration there will be an option to load a save from ME1. Once you select the save file you want, launch ME2 then select start new game and use imported ME1 character.

You don't. In Mass Effect 1 you might as well be when you have a good team and Colossus X armour though.

Once you lose their loyalty it cannot be regained sadly. I lost legions loyalty in my last play through. Loyalty is not required to win thankfully. Your characters can still survive the suicide mission even when they arent loyal. Its just harder to do

At the end of Mass Effect, Sovereign has attacked the citadel with its Geth allies. Shepard arrives at the citadel, and after reaching the council building, has to fight Saren for the last time. If Shepard is persuasive enough, he can break through Sovereign's indoctrination, and Saren will commit suicide. However Sovereign channels its will into the implants in Saren's corpse, reviving it for the final fight of the game. Once defeated, the feedback stuns Sovereign enough to drop its shields, enabling the fleet, and the Normandy, to destroy it.

The best way to keep your squad alive is to do their loyalty missions and do everything to help them deal with their individual problem. Also, upgrade your ship so that the collectors doesn't cut through it like butter.

in multiplayer get your character to level 20 then it will give you the option to promote that characters class after doing this in your single player you will get an email from general telling you about new troops for the cause you will also get the acheivement for it

Keep talking to her throughout the game. Eventually she will tell you her feelings for you, but you won't do anything with her. Before the final mission, she will come to your private room and you'll, you know, get it on.
