We're the same size! - I normally end up buying 30"-32" jeans and put up with a loose waist, but then again - I'm a guy...
29 1/2 waist 36 hip 31 1/4 inseam
Mens jeans tend to be universally sized in waist and length measurements (i.e.-a pair of jeans may be marked 32-30, the first number is the size of the waist and the second number is the length of the inseam on the jeans). On the other hand women's jeans tend to only have one number in the size (i.e.-a pair of jeans may be a size 6 and since there are no industry standards on women's jeans a size 6 from another company may be smaller or larger).
12 to 14
In the UK a size 10 dress or skirt has a 28 inch waist and sizes go up in increments of 2". Size 12 would therefore have a 30" waist, size 14, a 32" inch waist, size 16, a 34" waist, size 18, a 36" waist and so on. For a waist 33" you would either have to settle for a size 14, with a 32 inch waist, or go one larger and get a size 16, which would have a 34" waist.
It depends on the measurment of your hips/waist because mens pants/clothes depends on the waist size
