"Supposedly a woman jumped off the top of the building after she heard her husband died during ww1 she appears and asks people in the theatre if they have seen him."

This is floating all over the internet, but you need to first look at the timeline. World War I was 1914 to 1918 and the theatre didn't open until 1931. That would mean that she didn't know that her husband was dead for at least 13 years? Doesn't make much sense does it? Maybe they made a mistake and meant World War II! Ooops, nope that would mean that she found out that her husband died 10 years into the future!

I work at the now restored and beautiful theatre and sorry folks, no woman wandering around looking for Johnny!
