A raw egg in to the tank.
The two common causes for a toilet tank hose leak are the threads and the hose itself. Turn the water off, unscrew the hose, and wrap the threads with Teflon tape available at any hardware store. Reconnect the hose and turn the water back on. It it still leaks, consider replacing the hose as it may have a hole in it.
a crack or a hole in the tank. or hose for that matter
This is the fuel hose, also called the fuel line. It carries fuel from the gas tank to the carburetor. It has clearly become detached or loose and you should make sure to stop the leak before riding the bike. It is very dangerous to have gasoline leaks in a motorcycle.
that is the only place to add to it!
Accelerate real hard and don't stop You can siphon the fuel out. Sometimes it is necessary to remove the filler neck hose from the tank in order to insert a siphon hose.
There isn't one. You have to access it through the hose opening. I have a 96'. Same thing. If your looking to poor "stop leak" into it for your leaky head gasket, just pour it into the reserve tank.
Depends on why it is leaking. Find the leak and repair whatever is causing it. Loose connection, cracked hose, hole in tank, whatever.
First take off the Carborator. Then for a quick stop problem pour pepper into the oil tank, the pepper will expand and plug the leak. Sounds crazy but it works.
If you have a spair tire, remove it and the holder. Drain the tank. Support the tank. There are two straps with two bolts each(front and back of the tank) to be removed. Lower it slightly to gain access to the fill hose. This is a rubber hose over another hose that goes into the tank. There is a hose clamp on it. There is a plug for the sending unit to be removed. You can reach it on top of the tank and pull it out. On top are two fuel lines. They have a plastic clip inserted in them that pushes out and allows you to plull the lines off the fittings. Some gas may leak out of these lines when you pull them off. If you are not going to replace the tank you have to plug the lines so or they will leak. If you are replacing the tank make suure you know which fuel line is which.
If tank has rusted through, tank will leak. If bladder goes bad, tank should not leak.
